FRIDAY – FEELINGS (emotional development): Make a family album. Include photographs of relatives near and far, and flip through it often to build your child's memories. When Grandma calls, show him her picture as he listens on the phone.
THURSDAY - THINKING: Object permanence is the process that allows children to understand that an object continues to exist when it can’t be seen, touched or heard. It develops in parallel with both the visual, and motor pathways, as both the ability to see and the ability to grasp and reach for objects is key to understanding object permanence. So play many games where you hide items from your baby and encourage him to find them
WEDNESDAY - WATCHING: Toddlers love watching the unpredictability of a ball, the bigger the better. Give them a large inflatable ball to hold and push and when they start walking he will love to drop the ball and chase it bringing much joy.
